2014 - Video Edition

Played with Premiere for the first time ever this weekend. Turns out that i love it, even if it ran terribly on my old computer. Sidenote: i need a new computer.

Expect more video now that i have a GoPro!
2015...year of making shit!

2014 - Photo Edition

2014 - was pretty amazing. i had some pretty crappy curve balls thrown my way but i think it's safe to say that i came out on top in the end. It was a year of taking chances, sometimes they worked out and other times...not so much. But i learned a lot and explored outside my comfort zone.

Some Highlights: Traveled to new places and got to cross some pretty cool shit off my bucket list. Hiked the El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico, Rolled down the Imperial sand dunes, and finally made it to Salvation Mountain out in California. Also first time in Vegas but we hiked more than we hung out on the strip! Went deep into Red Rocks and saw the Grand Canyon.  My best friend got married in Barbados.  i turned 30 and was surprised by all my friends and family at a Mets game, and it was the greatest night ever. I also discovered how much i love lifting weights, specifically heavy ones! Left editorial behind for a bit to try out something new and so far i'm really loving the challenge.

Here's to more traveling, creating, friends and film in 2015.

Holga!

A coworker headed home to Buenos Aires, Argentina on Friday and another is heading down next week to meet her. It reminded me of the trip that Karen and i took there in 2010 so I dug up some film from that trip, one of my favorites. But i quickly realized that i had no idea what i was doing back then with the Holga camera and the photos are all dark except for maybe 2. bummer, but it took me down memory lane a bit and decided to post some from when i first started using the camera (which, according to my photos, took me a really long time to get the hang of)

the first two are from Mendoza, Argentina. The black and whites are from NYC, first one hanging with Kelsey and the second spotting Karen on the subway. The fifth photo in the set was a lucky shot i think. Taken in New Hampshire. And last but not least Kate in the woods. Starting to realize i have really shaky hands!

North 9 th and Bedford, taken with my old Holga. 9 years in this apt come September. insane! I love hanging out this window.

Japan 2012

Booked my Japan flights for April! Getting excited while looking through old rolls of film, I can't wait to explore some more in this amazing country.
